Dr. Alf Bhanji

Dr. Alf Bhanji graduated from the University of Waterloo school of Optometry in 2002 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Western Ontario.  He opened his own practice in Ottawa in 2004 where it has been growing rapidly ever since.  Dr. Bhanji is currently a member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Optometrists.

Since the beginning of his optometric career, Dr. Bhanji has participated in numerous eye care projects in South and Central America to deliver eye care and glasses to the underprivileged.  He is an active member of the Rotary Club and contributes his time and resources to many local and international charities.

In his leisure time, Alf enjoys travelling, playing basketball, playing dress-up with his two young daughters (as well as his son).

Dr. Christine Aubin

Dr. Christine Aubin completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at McMaster University before graduating from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry with Honours in 2005.  Dr. Aubin has worked with non-profit organizations including I Care International, Opening Eyes, Rayjon Share Care, Gift of Sight and Canadian Vision Care, providing eye care and delivering glasses to underprivileged demographics and people in under serviced areas.  She continues to share her expertise and resources with several different local and international organizations.

Dr. Aubin has a special interest in laser vision correction, having co-managed several hundreds of patients following laser refractive surgery.  She provides services in both English and French.

In her time outside of the clinic, Dr. Aubin is a busy mother of three young children and enjoys outdoor activities, volleyball, travelling and cooking.
